We are not just a MUSIC MINISTRY! We are also a loving COMMUNITY GROUP! We don’t just work together. We laugh, cry and play together. We support one another in ministry and life’s challenges. It’s a safe place to grow and share your gifts. St. James is filled with people of all ages from many cultural, religious and social backgrounds. We genuinely welcome their input and participation in our Music Ministry; and, as a result, we have a very diverse and well-balanced blend of music. Do you like traditional hymns, contemporary choruses, gospel, or anthems? Do you like choirs, ensembles, quartets, trios, or instrumentals? You don’t have to wait for a special service or holiday to experience any of these. You can enjoy this variety at St. James on any given Sunday!

Music Ministry Opportunities

Musical: Praise Choir, Praise Teams, Celebration Choir, Band, Solos, Duets, Trios, Quartets, Ensembles, Dance, Drama.

Technical: Run Sound, Operate Computer (Video Projector), Run Lights, Build Sets, Make Costumes, Event Set Up & Tear Down.

Administrative: Weekly Communication, Monthly Newsletter.

Pastoral Care: Intercessory Prayer, Devotions, Benevolence, Social Activities
